Types of Curvature Brand Transceivers

1 GbE

1GbE is Ethernet that transmits one gigabit per second in a data center environment.

GBIC, GLC, SFP
10 GbE
10GbE transmits 10 gigabits per second in a data center environment—acting as an incredibly fast backbone, connecting devices, and improving network performance.
XENPAK, X2, XFP, SFP+
25 GbE
25GbE transmits 25 gigabits per second. Since it is an even division of 100 Gigabit Ethernet, migrating from one to another is more economical compared to, for instance, moving from 40 GbE to 100 GbE, since you can simply use four streams.
SFP
40 GbE

40GbE transmits 40 gigabits per second in a data center environment.

QSFP
100 GbE

100 GbE transmits 100 gigabits per second in a data center environment.

QSFP28
400 GbE

400 GbE transmits 400 gigabits per second in a data center environment.

QDD
Multiplex

A multiplexer will combine and retransmit signals coming from transceivers.

CWDM, DWDM

Why Curvature?

Most data centers and enterprise networks operate with IT infrastructure from multiple OEMs. When it’s time to refresh or upgrade, having an industry-leading supplier like Curvature gives you a distinct advantage.

In addition, when an asset reaches End of Life (EOL), End of Service Life (EOSL), or End of Sale (EOS), you still need reliable equipment to keep your data center running. Curvature sources hardware long after OEMs stop manufacturing or servicing these parts.

Business Benefits

The benefits of optimizing your enterprise and data center networks with equipment from Curvature cannot be overstated:

Reduction of overall costs leads to increased return on investment (ROI) on IT infrastructure
Sourcing hard-to-find or EOSL parts
Data center managers can rest easy knowing that hardware is optimized, and service is quick and efficient
Improved performance, reliability, and scalability
Match your existing infrastructure
Free up resources and capital to reinvest in other projects that require upgraded technology
